Who's behind Ready Before Recording

Hi — I'm Amanda.

Strategy is the work I was born to do.

I've spent years in a variety of roles — delivering packages, ringing up orders at the register, spa treatments, wound care, process improvement projects. Different uniforms, one constant: I never take a need at face value. I look at a problem from every angle before deciding what actually solves it.

I'm not an expert in every industry — but I've spent enough time inside retail, healthcare, logistics, and wellness to speak the language and skip the small talk. That's a unique advantage: being close enough to understand how a business actually runs, but far enough outside to see what's missing. Pair that with a marketing mindset, and video stops being "let's post something" and starts being the message this specific audience actually needs to hear.

Outside of work, I love quiet, slow evenings, lake views, camera nerdery, and maple creamees. You won't stop me from using em-dashes — I've loved them since long before AI and I ain't sorry.

I love recording family adventures on camera, which would be a lot more successful if my own kid didn't actively run from the lens or say something inappropriate every time I pick up a camera.
